Meet the Hope In The Holy Land Film Team
Justin Kron is the founding coordinator of the Kesher Forum, an inter-denominational learning community based in Chicago for Christians who are interested in learning more about Jewish culture and building authentic relationships within the Jewish community. He is also the founding director of eXperience Israel, a spiritual pilgrimage program for Christian young adults, and he writes and speaks frequently on topics related to the Jewish heritage of the Christian faith, the history of Christian anti-Semitism, and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. He and his family reside in the Chicago area and are active members at Willow Creek Community Church.
Todd Morehead is from Southern California where he lives with his wife and four children. He is a graduate from Talbot Seminary with a M.A. in Biblical & Theological Studies. He has a passion for leading Christians to Israel—a country where he has visited over twenty-five times—to help instill God’s heart for both the people and the Land. In 2012 Todd directed and co-produced the documentary Promised Land: Israel Through The Eyes of Surfers (Walking On Water Films). Promised Land was screened to over 15,000 people in live attendance throughout the USA, Israel, Europe and Asia, and won best film, best documentary and audience favorite at the 2012 ATTIC Film Festival. In his spare time, he loves to surf.
Jesse Schluntz is a contract filmmaker based in Southern California who specializes in story-driven content ranging from web shorts to feature-length documentaries, including Promised Land: Israel Through The Eyes of Surfers. His passion is to work with honest subjects and tell stories that matter. Some of his clients have included ESPN, Patagonia, Quicksilver, Surfer Magazine, and Titleist.
Troy Tertany is the principle at Anchor Design Co. based in Southern California which focuses on helping purpose-based organizations exponentially grow with the use of web development, graphics, photography and high level strategic planning. Troy has a broad range of experience including art direction on Promised Land: Israel Through The Eyes of Surfers. His passion to help others and be a part of something larger than himself is what motivates him on a daily basis.
Andrew Thompson is a film-maker based out of Southern California. He has a passion for story-telling and loves to share beautiful imagery alongside it. He has worked with brands and organizations such as Intel, Microsoft, Sony, Nike, Reef, Compassion International, World Vision, and Nations Foundation to name a few.
Dustin Wise is a sound engineer, musician, producer, and filmmaker from Nashville TN. He and his family relocated to Nashville in 2011 from western Colorado. Since then, Dustin has had a role in a wide range of productions and his work has been featured by brands such as Apple, Nike, and Red Bull. He is passionate about telling amazing stories, chasing big ideas, and creating great stuff with the worlds coolest people.
We are also working with a team of advisors and writers who are well-educated in the history and challenges related to the Israeli-Arab conflict.
